Workshop Description:
What do we hold, remember, and create with our voice? How do we practice listening and responding to sound? This workshop frames sound and body as material craft. Inspired by Pauline Oliveros’ Deep Listening and the experience of childhood song, this workshop invites people to participate in a group sound practice using voice as both tool and material. This session will include listening practices, experimentation, rounds and harmonies, tuning into somatic and breathing processes that facilitate sonic connection.
